Blue Light Scanning
Structure Blue light scanning provides product data that is crucial to customer success. Our blue light capabilities include:
- Full Rotation MCXL table with integrated ATOS Triple Scan.
- Fanuc Robotic Arm with integrated ATOS Triple Scan and 800mm dia. 360° table.
Data obtained from blue lights scans are accurate to within 5 microns. Our Team of Blue light inspectors offer a wealth of knowledge from part digitization to writing repeatable programs. This allows for quicker repeat inspection that reduces the overall customer lead time. Data obtained from Blue light scanning can be used for:

Our portable 7 axis Romer Absolute Arm with contact probe measurement and integrated Laser scanner allows us to quickly and accurately scan parts at almost any location. Utilizing Polyworks software, our portable scanning system can provide product quality feedback onsite.
Manual/Traditional Plate Work
The tried and true method of dimensional inspection remains a staple at J&L. With over 50 years combined experience in plate work inspection, our team of experts will make quick work of any manual inspection job.
Our capabilities allow us to utilize SLA 3D printing technology to create unique parts that will meet our customers’ requirements. With the access to a wide range of materials and the ability to create parts with .025mm layer thickness, our printing services will accommodate any complex geometry with extreme accuracy.
J&L’s reverse engineering services gives customers critical product information that will allow them to revise and improve on current product design. Our service takes a physical part to CAD model using accurate techniques to ensure dimensional accuracy. Reverse Engineering can allow customers to:
