CMM Layout Inspector (Aerospace)
Job Description
A Layout Inspector is responsible for executing CMM programs and accurately interpreting inspection results.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect using PCDMIS or CMM Manager software.
- Understand and operate relevant equipment and software.
- Read and understand customer-supplied and internal activity instructions.
- Verify quality of work. Identify and correct bad data prior to data export.
- Utilize appropriate documentation techniques for basic report creation and accurate
- Create quotes based on customer RFQ’s.
- Perform incidental tasks as required to complete the larger tasks.
Qualifications and Training Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience and training as a CMM programmer / inspector in aerospace.
- Working knowledge of GD&T.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Capable of multitasking.
- Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills (both internal and external).
- Ability to work independently and with a Team.
